She was personally trained by some of greatest national and international experts in rehabilitation, thoracic surgery and intensive care, including Dr. Elizabeth Dean (Canada), Dr. Rick Gosselink (Belgium), Dr. Guy Postiaux (Belgium), Dr. José Roberto Brito Jardim (São Paulo), Dr. José Camargo (Porto Alegre) and Dr. Azeredo (Rio de Janeiro).
Over the past 24 years, she has been setting standards in pulmonary rehabilitation and critical patient support in Northeastern Brazil and achieved widespread acclaim for her work on pulmonary expansion in patients with chronic pneumopathy.
